Garlic Herb Wings

Did you ever have the Garlic Parmesan Wings from Pizza Hut? Oh, how I loved those things. I could eat a dozen of them without blinking an eye. If I tried pulling that now, I’d be out of commission for two days.

I’ll say, these wings taste much better than any wings you can get elsewhere. They’re easy to make and don’t require a bunch of ingredients. Give ’em a try, and you’ll be kissing that wing place goodbye!

 Garlic Herb Wings

6 chicken legs/drumsticks or 10-12 wings, organic at the very least, pastured are even better
1 teaspoon of the following: oregano, rosemary, and salt
1/2 teaspoon cumin

2 tablespoons of the following: butter, basil
2 garlic cloves, finely minced

Note: If cooking wings your bake time will be about 25 minutes, but drumsticks take about 45 minutes total.

Preheat oven to 425. In small bowl mix together oregano, rosemary, cumin, salt. Arrange chicken in baking dish and sprinkle with mixture. Bake the chicken for 25 minutes.

Meanwhile, combine butter, garlic, and basil in small bowl. If cooking wings, coat chicken with this mixture and allow to cool before eating.

If cooking legs, continue to cook for 10 additional minutes, so a total of 35 minutes. At this point, rub garlic herb mixture over legs, then cook for 10 minutes.

Round off your meal with a salad and side of veggies and you have got a meal even Pizza Hut can’t touch.

Do you have a favorite wing flavor? What kind of dip would you make to serve with these wings?

  1. I thought they were super easy. Um, I did forget to put the cheese mixture on in 2 batches and did it all at once. That worked fine though. Sis also made them and they liked them too!
