Best Side Dishes of 2013

Can you believe we are nearing the conclusion of 2013? I’ve been having a hard enough time remembering which month we’re in, now I have to write “2014”!

To help celebrate the ending of one year and the coming of another, we writers for the Alternative Living Network have put together an excellent “Best of 2013” list. Since I always struggle with side dishes, that’s the one I chose.

Seriously, how many times have you had roasted potatoes or a salad accompanying your meal because you didn’t know what else to cook? Well, this list is for you…. and me. These dishes don’t necessarily follow any one given diet, but all of them are made with real, whole ingredients.
